OMG! Michael Albany Photography will be one of the top 25 businesses in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2016 LGBT Business of Pride Awards! Needless to say I am beyond honored, in fact surprised is a more accurate response. I would love to see everyone I know there and I would encourage you to attend.

In my last blog post you met Jade Gasper, owner of Mark It Alternatives. I mentioned in that article that Jade herself was being honored as a business leader in the LGBT community. At the time of me writing the article, and at her photoshoot, I was totally unaware that Michael Albany Photography would be included as on of the top 25 LGBT owned businesses. There is a third category too,  LGBT Companies. These are companies that either are based in the Philadelphia area or do substantial amounts of business here and received a perfect 100 score from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation on corporate equality. Quite a group to be a part of!

Do come out if you can! If not, at least make an effort to support he entire list of honorees!
